Answers to common questions...
Q. How much do the materials cost?
A. If you purchase everything new as listed on the materials list you will spend 150-200.00
I have listed in the plans many ways to lower this cost by selecting alternative materials to reduce your cost.
Q. Can I buy one already built?
A. Although I did offer an assembled unit at one time, I am currently only selling the plans. My work schedule has precluded me from building any more of these units.
Q. Can I move this by myself?
A. This coop/tractor can be moved fairly easily by an adult. There is a handle on one end and wheels on the other. You simply pick it up and roll to a different area of your yard or new patch of dirt for your chickens to forage in.
Q. How large is the coop?
A. The footprint of the coop is about 4' x 8' with the highest point being about 55".
